WITH ORIGINAL RED BINDING
This is the very first King James Bible printed with the standardized English of Samuel Johnson's 1755 English dictionary. This printing brought the spelling and punctuation of the KJV up to date with the latest English usage. It also sought to correct printers' errors and standardize the use of italics. With the appearance of the Bentham KJV, printing of the original 1611 KJV began to cease.
